How does the roulette spin work?
Tap "Spin for Dinner" on the Home tab. The app uses AI to generate 5 dinner ideas (6 when Kids Menu is on), based on the ingredients you've added, plus your dietary preferences and allergies.
How do I add ingredients?
Go to the Ingredients tab and search for items, or use Kitchen Scan (Premium) to snap a photo of your fridge or pantry and let AI detect them automatically.
How many spins do I get for free?
Free users get 5 spins per week, resetting weekly. Premium users get unlimited spins.
What's included in Premium?
Unlimited spins, AI kitchen photo scanning, barcode scanning, dietary filters (17), cuisine filters (20), family groups, Kids Menu, Simple & Fancy recipe modes, and Chef — your personal AI cooking coach.
What is Chef?
Chef is your personal AI chef, nutritionist, and cooking coach (Premium). Ask for custom recipes, cooking advice, or ingredient swaps and get instant answers.
What are Simple and Fancy modes?
Premium modes that tailor each spin — Simple for quick weeknight meals, Fancy for restaurant-quality dishes.
How does the Family feature work?
Create a family group and share your invite code. Each member sets their own preferences and allergies, and everyone's needs are factored into recipes.
What is Kids Menu mode?
When enabled, the app adds an extra kid-friendly meal using simpler ingredients picky eaters enjoy.
How do I manage my allergies?
In Profile → Food Allergies, pick from 15 common allergens or add custom ones. Recipes with those allergens are filtered out.
Can I share recipes?
Yes — tap the share button on any recipe to send it via Messages, email, or any app.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
